Domaine Alain Robert is a family-run domaine in Champagne. Alain Robert took over the family vineyards in 1970. His Tradition and Reserve Cuvees are 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay from Mesnil-sur-Oger. Robert M. Parker Jr. writes that “no other Champagne establishment is at all like that of Alain Robert, both in the striking personalities of its wines and in the degree to which their elevage…are consciously premodern…Robert’s vintage-dated Tradition is – along with Krug’s Clos de Mesnil and Salon – one of the great white peaks of the Champagne range.”
