Château Angludet

Château Angludet is an 84-acre Cru Bourgeois Exceptional estate in the Margaux appellation. It traces its history to the 12th century, when a knight named Bernard d’Angludet owned the property. In 1961 it was purchased by Diana and Peter Sichel, and today their five sons run the estate, with Benjamin as winemaker. Vineyards are planted to 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot. Some 140,000 bottles are produced annually. The second wine is La Dame d’Angludet, produced from younger vines.
